from Madison, CT on 7/9/2008I LOVE THESE FLIP FLOPS. At first they are a little stiff, but after wearing them once or twice, they mold to your foot. I had a pair of rainbows for 2 years and I still wear them all the time. They will last forever and they are the most comfortable flip flops ever!

from Greensboro, NC on 7/4/2008I vacuum and drive in the Rainbows. I am 5'4" and weigh 113 pounds, so it's not that I am overwhelming the expectations of a product. They are comfortable, just a bit shorter and narrower than I think a size 6M should be. I have an 88 pound dog and do a lot of trail walking, but I will not wear the sandals for that. I do think the shoes are too expensive.
I bought my first pair around 1988. They have been with me ever since. They have been my every summer footwear for 20 years. It is time to retire these old faithfuls and reorder. Thank you for making such an extra-ordinarily durable product. I love my Rainbows!

from Phoenix, AZ on 6/21/2008My first pair of Rainbows have lasted 3 years, and are starting to look worn, but not even close to looking scuzzy like most flips flops get over time. They hold up, and the strap between the toes doesn't cause blisters which is a plus :)

these are the only shoes that i actually like to wear. i have three pairs and they are extremely comfortable. i would definately recommend these shoes for everyday life.

rainbows are an amazing prodct they give you the best comfort needed even though there a little expensive, still they last for ever about 3 years and if you dont get them you will regret it trust me you are able to wear them around the house to the mall and where ever you go every body has them there the hottest sandal the only bad thing is if you walk around some where for about 8 straight hours the may start to hurt your feet a little i definitley reccomend this shoe!

from Athens, GA on 5/15/2008I wear my Rainbows all the time, they are by far the best flip flops I have ever bought. Be prepared to break them in...they are definitely not very comfortable at first but once you break them in (a week or so of frequent wear) they are amazing. Some people say you should soak them to help break them in more quickly, I got mine a bit damp and it seemed to help but they are leather so I wouldn't recommend soaking them unnecessarily. They are fine in puddles though!
from Baltimore, MD on 5/15/2008These are great sandals! I just bought two more pairs (in black and expresso) after my dog chewed up my original pair. They are a bit stiff in the begining, but that quickly goes away with wear and they really conform to the shape of your foot. The straps also feel a little tight in the begining, but that goes away fast and they stretch to the perfect size. I had my first pair for several years and they held up great with heavy wear during the summer months - if my dog hadn't chewed them up I'm sure they woud have been in great condition for several more years.

from Santa Barbara, CA on 4/25/2008I wear these everyday. I am a college student in Santa Barbara living by the beach so they are great to go from class to the beach. These are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in a very long time. They are a little stiff when you first put them on but then they mold to you feet and they become amazing! And if you have slightly wider feet don't get the women's sizes because they are narrow, most of my friends just by the men's because they are a little wider and a little more comfortable.

My rainbow flip flops are great! They go with everything.
The website picture of the color Expresso does not do these flip flops justice! The Expresso is a nice deep brown, and the color really compliments tanned legs. I was never really interested in Rainbows until I saw this particular color. I now own the Expresso with narrow straps and doulbe layered soles. I have a bit of chafing between the toes, but my pair are brand new, and I'm looking forward to breaking them in.

from Williamsburg, Virginia on 4/5/2008this is an amazing product!! i love the arch support, and the narrow straps. they are kinda stiff at first but after you break them in they are a dream to wear. they are the only shoes i wear now. they are sooooo comfortable. i have 3 pairs of thick straps, 4 narrow straps, 2 double stacks, and 2 with the jewels on them. they are all wonderful, they are the best flip flops ever and i will never buy another brand again.

I got the expresso and they are more of a chocolate medium brown not dark. If you have wide feet I wouldn't get them. I think I have thin to average feet and they are perfect for me. They go with everything and I am happy!

from Cupertino, CA on 1/27/2008Okay, all rainbows lover like myself (i own 4 pairs; double stack wide, 2 single wide, single narrow straps) know that rainbows are known for durablity and style. Yes it may be stiff about one to two months depending on how much you wear it, but once you wear them in with your own personal foot groove then you'll never wear another pair. Rainbows are guaranteed till the footbed wears into the non rubber layers so you're good to go! The narrow straps and double layers run slightly larger than the single layers to pick accordingly.

from Tucson on 1/18/2008The sandals are very comfortable and stylish. The only problem is that they fit in size from where the strap goes in between your toes but there is alot of extra space in the top of the sandal.

from austin, tx on 12/13/2007after sending back 2 different pairs, the 3rd one is perfect! the colors of the different brown pairs on the website aren't quite representative of the actual color. the website color is MUCH darker than they are in person. I wanted a medium to darker brown, which is the expresso color, which looks almost black on the website. the expresso sandal looks in person like the dark brown looks on the website. I ordered the 10 because they said they run true to size, but I wear a 10 and they were over an inch too big. after that, I ordered the Large (7.5-8.5) which were just a tiny bit too small. finally, the extra-large seems to work. they're a little roomie but certainly better than the 10! I can't wait to break them in.

from maryland on 10/24/2007I've had my first pair of rainbows for years and I was heartbroken when the sole finally wore through to the point that it hurt to walk. I decided to opt for the thin strap this time, and I love them! They seem a little easier to break in, and they are just a little sleeker and can be more easily "dressed up".

Rainbows are the most comfortable and durable sandals on the market. I've travelled the world with them on all terrains. These rock!
from East Coast on 10/17/2007Rainbows are always great--and these are perfect, except there was only a choice of large or small (large is 7.5 - 8) when I ordered. I'm size 7 to 7.5 and I wasn't sure if I wanted to risk them being too small so I went with the large and they're a bit too long. I may have to exchange them. Rainbows are always the best, most durable flip flop for the beach and every day and they're cute, too.
from Valencia, CA on 10/7/2007I will use my shoes to go anywhere. They are great just a little tight around the toes. I have pretty narrow feet so I wouldn't recommend these to anyone that has fuller feet. They are very cute and comfy.
I just got the sierra brown ones and they are so comfortable! I tried it on and immediately knew I had to buy it!
from Chicago, IL on 9/7/2007The arch support is great, the leather is durable and seems to hold up even when wet (as in rainy weather)BUT the ribbon between the toes is stiff and cut the skin between my toes. Thus, I cannot wear these sandals for longer than brief periods of time.
These shoes aren't as great as everybody made it sound. I've been suffering from blisters since I've worn these shoes. I was excited when I received them, but I am disappointed that it's not as comfortable as everybody made it seem. I am hoping that a couple more times wearing this will break them in, although I'm sure I'll suffer from a couple more blisters. My right foot also keeps slipping off the sandal sole for some reason. I don't know if it's because of the way I walk, but it's somewhat uncomfortable at times. I don't think I will be buying another pair any time soon.

I love the Rainbow flip flops. I can wear them anywhere. They are soooo comfortable and they look good too. The colors that are available match my wardrobe too. Thank you for making such a good product. I will never where any other flip flop brand again.
